By request, here are the parts of the flag as we refer to them in our How to color guard videos. We generally like to use 6' aluminum flag poles and curved 36"x54" poly china silk for our flags. Fiberglass poles are alright too, but they don't last forever like aluminum ones do and you will have to replace them after several years.
